About This Wiki
What this site is, how we label facts we cannot confirm, how we handle your data, and the rules of use — all on one page.
Who we are
over the hill Wiki is an independent, fan-made wiki covering over the hill, the off-road zen adventure developed by Funselektor Labs Inc. together with Strelka Games. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Funselektor Labs Inc.
What we do
We collect information from official sources (the Funselektor website, the pinned Steam community FAQ, official Reddit announcements, the Steam store API and the official YouTube channel), and from community discussion, then rewrite and organize it into plain-English pages. Every page carries a fact-check date, a status badge and a sources list.
Corrections
Spotted something wrong? Tracking pages — release information, the demo status page, pricing and anything post-launch — are re-checked regularly. Corrections are applied with a new fact-check date.
Three labels, used literally
Every fact on this site carries one of three labels. This is not decoration — it is the whole editorial method.
- Official sources — published by Funselektor on their own site, Steam FAQ, Reddit announcements, trailers or store listings. Safe to rely on.
- Partially confirmed — confirmed in part, or reported by a credible third party but not on a first-party page. We state exactly what is known and flag the gap.
- Pending confirmation — Funselektor has not announced it. We say so plainly and explain what would change the answer.
What we refuse to do
- We do not invent vehicle lists, area names, prices or system requirements. If no source exists, the page says the information does not exist yet.
- We do not present the June 2026 Next Fest demo as a current offer. It ended on 29 June 2026 and we document it as history, not as a download.
- We do not blur the line between the console announcements and the launch lineup: over the hill launches on Steam only, with PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 versions following in 2027.
How to read a caveat box
Pages where a claim is genuinely uncertain carry a Read this first box immediately below the summary. That box is the fastest way to know which parts of the page are solid and which are waiting on Funselektor.
Data we collect
This is a static website. We do not run accounts, comment systems, newsletters or forms. No personal information is collected by the site itself.
Cookies & analytics
We use Baidu Analytics and Google Analytics for aggregate traffic counts. Google Analytics may set its own cookies (such as _ga) to measure usage; neither service identifies individual visitors to us. Third-party embeds may set their own cookies — see below.
Third-party content
Pages embed or link to third-party services, notably YouTube video embeds and store pages. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you interact with them. Video embeds load from youtube-nocookie.com and only after you click.

Use of this site
Content is provided for informational purposes "as is". We work hard to keep facts current and sourced, but a pre-launch game changes quickly — always verify purchase decisions on the official store pages.
